Six-cap international Mejbri has started in all three games for Mondher Kebaier’s men in the Arab Cup.

He chipped in with an assist in the 5-1 victory against Mauritania and United supporters have waxed lyrical over the teenager.

Urging interim manager Rangnick to get the player involved in the first team, one user tweeted: “Bring Hannibal Mejbri into the first team and that midfield is fixed. I dare say it.”

Another remarked: “I want to see this lad given a chance in the 2nd half of the season along with Amad [Diallo]. They are brilliant talents.”

A third added: “I think Rangnick will give more chance to youth players. Hope this guy will get it.”

Rangnick has hinted he is keen to give youth a chance having promoted SIX academy players to the first team this week.

Mejbri made his United debut in the final Premier League game of last season as he come on as a substitute in the 2-1 win away at Wolves.

United fans will be hoping he puts on a show once again when Tunisia face Oman on Friday.
