“Don’t slate Dier’ – Some fans react to Spurs’ 3-2 win against Newcastle
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been sharing their reaction after watching their side beat Newcastle United 3-2 earlier this evening.
Nuno Espirito Santo has now recorded back to back Premier League wins either side of the international break and has seen the North Londoners move up to fifth in the table, five points behind leaders Chelsea.
Newcastle gave their already jubilant fans plenty to cheer about following their recent takeover when they went ahead through a Callum Wilson header inside 120 seconds of the clash at St James’ Park.
When Tanguy Ndombele, who was arguably the best player on the pitch equalised fifteen minutes later, the tide of the game turned in Tottenham’s favour with the away side having dominated proceedings.
Harry Kane silenced the doubters when he lobbed Karl Darlow to put his side in front and following a delay to the game following a medical emergency to a home supporter, Heung-min Son netted Tottenham’s third just before the half-time break looked to put the game beyond the Magpies, only for Eric Dier’s late own goal to cause a nervy final few minutes.
Here is how some fans reacted to picking up all three points.
could have been a comfortable win by a commanding scoreline. instead we win by 1 because we change to boring side to side passing

Always the hard way ffs. 3 points on the board and probably the best we've looked the whole season.

Good performance all in all. Great defense mostly and a lot of movement when in possession. Step in the right direction

Never seen a team hit the deck so much, and very respectful of son celebrating like that after the circumstances

We never do it easy
Big win in circumstances.
Ndombele bossed the midfield, Kane was class. Moura with good runs. LOVE Skippy, can't get enough of him.
Should have been more.
Surprised Ritchie handball wasn't a pen.
Most importantly, glad that fan is stabilised. COYS
