Striker Kris Doolan will also be leaving the Lichties when his contract expires at the end of this month.
It has been an absolute pleasure to have Kris at the club, a legend in Scottish Football and a Partick Thistle Hall of Famer and record goalscorer.
Kris from the very outside has been a true professional and his experience has been invaluable for the dressing room and our young players.
Having that knowledge to pass on is priceless and we are extremely grateful for the time that Kris has spent with us and playing a part in keeping us in the Championship.
Kris scored twice in his home debut in a pre-season friendly against Forfar Athletic before netting away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle, a stunning goal against Heart of Midlothian and then the winner against Raith Rovers at Gayfield in February.
Kris made 16 starting appearances and a further 9 appearances from the bench in all competitions this seasons and scoring 3 goals.
Traveling up from Ayrshire every week and running a very successful football Academy we know is a big commitment.
Again it has been bitterly disappointing that our fans haven’t had the chance to see Kris play in the flesh and give him the send off he deserves.
Kris will be missed but is always welcome back at the club.
