Timetable for season tickets

0 1

Maidstone United are preparing to announce season ticket information and pricing next month.

The club are looking forward to welcoming supporters back to the Gallagher Stadium for the first time since March 2020.

With the vaccine rollout continuing apace and the roadmap out of lockdown on target, optimism is high that the Black and Amber army will once again be on the terraces or taking their seats in the Manchett Main Stand.

The next stage of the Government’s roadmap comes a week today and further information on spectators at sporting events is expected from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the Football Association.

That guidance will likely include the latest data on ground capacities and any social distancing requirements. This in turn will help the club plan for the 2021/22 season.

Club chief executive Bill Williams said: “In normal times, we would have recently finished a season and started gearing up for the next.

“It is around this time previously that we would offer up our season ticket prices and start on the renewals. Preparations for that are happening behind the scenes but we don’t want to jump the gun until the next set of guidance is published.

“If we assume that by the start of next season things are virtually back to normal and sell on that basis, we could find ourselves having to backtrack should Government or the FA decide otherwise.

“Let’s look at that update when it comes in the next few days and then we’ll be in a position to launch our 2021/22 campaign in early June. I cannot wait for that moment, I am sure you all feel the same way too.”

Subject to capacity levels, the club’s ‘Set in Stone’ promise will come into play. This guarantees all 2019/20 main stand season ticket holders a first option on the seat they had prior to the pandemic.
