Report suggests four players Man Utd could offer Spurs in Kane swap deal

0 2

The Athletic reported last month that Manchester United may look to sign Harry Kane this summer by offering Tottenham a player swap deal in part exchange.

It was claimed recently that Man United are readying a £90m offer for the Spurs talisman this summer, with Kane currently topping the goal and assist charts for the Premier League.

The Express have now reiterated the possibility that the Red Devils could offer Tottenham a swap deal in their pursuit of the England captain.

The report names David De Gea, Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Donny Van de Beek as possible inclusions to this part-exchange offer, although no concrete plan is reported.

David De Gea has been displaced by Dean Henderson in the Premier League of late, while Anthony Martial has struggled in front of goal this season and Van de Beek has found minutes altogether few and far between.

Lingard, on the other hand, has been in fine form out on loan with West Ham United.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I wouldn’t particularly be interested in a swap deal involving any of those players and I suspect that Man United’s bid, if one did come in, would fall well short of Daniel Levy’s valuation of Kane.
