Serie A pair linked with move for former Spurs forward

According to a report by Calcio Mercato, former Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente is attracting interest from both Juventus and Inter Milan.

Despite never really getting a consistent run of games under his belt during his time at Spurs, Llorente proved a valuable squad player for Mauricio Pochettino in the two years that he spent in North London.

He was a useful option to bring on from the bench when the team were chasing games and ended up being pivotal to Tottenham’s run to the finals of the Champions League in 2018/19, with Harry Kane out with an injury.

Despite Llorente’s decent displays for Tottenham, there were not too many eyebrows raised when the Spaniard was allowed to leave the club on a free in the summer of 2019.

It seemed as if the club’s decision was proven right given Llorente’s struggle for game time at Napoli.

However, if a report in Calcio Mercato is to be believed, the former Spurs man is still in demand despite being in the twilight of his career.

The report claims that Andrea Pirlo and Antonio Conte are both fans of the 35-year-old and are keen to bring him to Turin and Milan respectively.
