NY Red Bulls Thrash Inter Miami 4-1

0 1

The New York Red Bulls captured their second consecutive road win on Wednesday night against Inter Miami CF.

New York scored the first goal of the evening from the penalty spot, thanks to a well-placed execution by right-back Mandela Egbo.

The 23-year-old Englishman netted his first MLS goal on Wednesday night.

The Red Bulls finished the first half with three shots, one of them on target. Mathias Jørgensen saw one of his attempts smash the crossbar early on in the game after a great pass by Jared Stroud.

Former Red Bull, Juan Agudelo, leveled things up in the 39th minute.

To start off the second half, Brian White scored his first goal of the season after Florian Valot and Omir Fernandez combined a series of passes that led to New York’s second of the night.

The five substitutions in the game were Cristian Cásseres, Tom Barlow, Danny Royer, Ben Mines and Kyle Duncan taking White, Jørgensen, Fernandez, Dru Yearwood and Valot’s places on the field.

Danny Royer and Ben Mines scored the last two goals to wrap up the evening in Florida.
