This Mugging Of Khalil Mack Had Ex-Player Laughing In Disbelief
Khalil Mack is a superstar. Don’t let anybody tell you differently. This guy wrecks football games and opposing teams know it. That is why they often go to incredible lengths to make sure he doesn’t take over the game. The New York Giants did exactly that on Sunday and it still didn’t matter. Mack ended up with a sack, five pressures, and a fumble recovery.
Former NFL player Brian Baldinger reviewed the Chicago Bears’ 17-13 victory. He found evidence of just how blatant the Giants were in their attempts to slow Mack down. When he rolled the clip to explain, he couldn’t help but break down laughing at how the referees somehow didn’t call holding.

Bears fans have complained loudly since Mack arrived that officials don’t call nearly enough holding penalties on offenses assigned to block him. This is just the latest example, though it might be the most egregious yet. In the end, Mack and his defensive teammates had the final say.

They can’t keep Khalil Mack caged forever
Is it a coincidence that Mack had his first sack of the season when Robert Quinn suited up for the first time? Probably, yeah. Still, the presence of the fellow veteran pass rusher figures to be huge for this defensive front moving forward. With him in the mix, the Bears finished with four sacks of Daniel Jones on Sunday and came close to several more.
Mack has never had an edge rusher of that caliber across from him in his career. To say nothing of Akiem Hicks being back to his old dominant self. The Bears star made it clear he’s on a mission this season. Not just to win football games but also to remind everybody why he’s one of the best in the business.
The Giants may have gotten away with it, but he’ll just use that as fuel to take out on the next guy.
