Video: Gareth Bale gives his first interview since returning to Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur have officially announced the signing of Gareth Bale on a loan deal from Real Madrid this evening, sending Spurs fans into meltdown.

The Welshman returns seven years after he left North London for Spain, but has revealed in his first interview that he always wanted to come back one day.

During the interview, Bale talks about the winning mentality he developed in Madrid, winning four Champions League titles. He also insisted that a trophy was on the agenda in order for Tottenham to progress as a club.

Bale highlighted that he and Daniel Levy had spoken about the past, what the club achieved during Bale’s first stint there, and where they are heading next.
