Fleet took the lead in the 18th minute after referee Atkins blew his whistle with the ball in our box. Fleet captain Ben White then put the ball in the net with players from both sides having stopped in their tracks, and Atkins gave a goal.
A breeze in the park in more than one respect. Our boys overcame a surprisingly strong wind and Arlesey in the first half with an excellent goal from Max Webb with Jack Beadle adding the second having been given half the length of the pitch to run into after some slack defending by Arlesey.
