I was like you Mike in that my football was everything and even on holiday, I'd be up at silly o'clock doing beach runs with one eye on pre season.
There's always something else though and the MTB was it for me, saw some fantastic parts of the country that you couldn't see any other way, made some great mates doing it too.
Just keep moving is my motto, then the bastards can't tie you down.
