Back to Basics; Ajax 2025-26

It's now up on the Ajax home page. John Heitinga has been appointed manager, with Marcel Keizer as his principal assistant. Heitinga had a spell as manager after Schreuder was sacked. He did not get the job on a permanent basis as he said that Mislintat's transfer policy was not going to work out. He spent the past two years as an assistant, first at West Ham and last season working under Arne Slot at Liverpool.

Let's hope the core of the team sticks around for next season.
