Red Sox Ten-Game Winning Streak Snapped By Chicago Cubs
The Red Sox’ 10-game winning streak came to an end on Friday afternoon at the hands of the Chicago Cubs. The Red Sox fell behind early with Seiya Suzuki’s 3-run home run off of starting pitcher Lucas Giolito.
The lone Red Sox run came off the bat of Roman Anthony, who hit an RBI double to extend his hitting streak to ten games. Ceddanne Rafaela extended his own streak to eleven games with a single in the seventh.
