A plea for clarity

I sometimes encounter terms in here like B11 or G12 referring to boys and girls of a particular age group. It is not always clear to me whether B11 means boys born in 2011, boys 11 years old, or boys who will be 11 years old this year. I suggest using the 4-digit version such as B2011 or G2013 to eliminate the ambiguity.

I was going to point out that this forum uses the terms that way, but noted with a smile that it actually groups them in collections labeled "Girls 09-98" and "Boys 09-98".
