Dad just had a phone call enquiring about his share (foreign guy didn’t know he only had one). Claimed someone wanted to takeover club. Seems completely dodgy. Anyone else had similar call?

It's a scam. Caller says that they are interested in buying what you thought were/are useless shares then they will send an NDA and a request for payment for an insurance bond in case the proposed purchase falls through.
