Applications for Mens First Team Coach now open!
Cannock Hockey Club is seeking to appoint a men’s first team coach for the 2019/20 season.
After a few difficult seasons, the club is rebuilding its first team structure and is seeking a driven individual to lead this exciting challenge.
The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate:
- Experience dealing with both junior and senior players, and an understanding of managing the workload of players involved in school, university and international programmes.
- Experience coaching a team to a good standard
- Knowledge of the modern game
- Experience of playing and/or coaching with the Midlands Premier or National League
- The ability to coach both technical and tactical considerations at all levels within the club
- Effective communication with players, parents, coaches and management within the club.
- Be able to use and provide effective coaching and feedback through video analysis
- Hold a minimum of England Hockey Coach or Sessional Coach Award or UKCC Level 2 coaching qualification (or equivalent).
