Helena Masiello, Emily Fraser star for Georgetown field hockey

The Georgetown field hockey team became the program's first squad since the 2001 season to record 10 wins in a season and senior forward Helena Masiello and junior back Emily Fraser are key performers for the Hoyas.
Georgetown defeated Towson 2-1 last Sunday in Washington, D.C., to reach the milestone to go 10-5 overall and 2-3 in Big East Conference play.
Masiello, from East Greenbush (Columbia High), has three goals and two assists for eight points playing in all 15 games. Fraser, from Ballston Lake (Shenendehowa High), has four goals and two assists for 10 points. She had the game winner in a 3-2 league triumph over Temple on Oct. 5 in Philadelphia, had two goals in a 7-1 victory over Lehigh on Sept.
