New Strictly fix row as it’s revealed celeb on 2024 series has already trained in ballroom dance – and WON the show
A NEW Strictly fix row has emerged as one of this year’s budding ballroom hopefuls has already WON the show.
JLS singer JB Gill was confirmed to be taking to the ballroom on the BBC contest earlier today but it hasn’t taken long for his background in dance to come to light.

However, his experience in dance goes far beyond the boys impressive skills thanks to a slew of past experience.
The Hottest Girl In The World hitmaker has already been shown how to move around the dancefloor by former pro Ola Jordan.
Together the pair wowed BBC viewers when they took part in the programme’s Christmas special, 12 years ago in 2012.
JB and Ola also won the contest proving that the judges thought he had the moves.
JB and Ola scored an impressive 39 after gaining three 10s and one 9 for their routine to Rockin Robin.
It means that the singer has a vast deal more experience than most contenders thanks to having already been on the Strictly dancefloor.
Elsewhere, the star has also had a stint on another major dancing show alongside his wife, Chloe Gill.
Chloe, a trained dancer and performer, performed on ITV’s Dance Dance Dance alongside her husband in 2017.
The show, which featured real-life couples dancing together, saw JB and Chloe come in bronze position just behind Hollyoaks star Lucy Jo Hudson and former EastEnders actor Jonny Labey.
One fan picked up on these coincidences as they admitted that JB is bound to sail through the BBC contest.
Writing online, they said: “Ooh we already know hes a good dancer! His wife is a professional dancer and they competed together on another celeb dance show called Dance, Dance, Dance (if anyone remembers that from a few years ago) where they came 3rd!”
39-year-old JB joined presenters Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle on ITV‘s This Morning for the big reveal earlier today.
Josie told viewers: “We can reveal that the second celebrity taking part in this year’s Strictly is JB Gill.”
The One Shot hitmaker said: “I danced in the Strictly Christmas special over a decade ago and loved it, so when I got the call to join Strictly this year, it was an immediate yes from me.
“I’m raring to go to and looking forward to showing off some new skills to the JLS boys.
“From muddy wellies on the fields of my farm to sequins and Glitterballs – I’m here to embrace it all!”
JB is set to join celebs including ex-footie ace Paul Merson, 56, and DIY SOS’s Nick Knowles, 61, in Strictly’s line-up.
Team GB star Tom Dean let slip he was the first Strictly contestant hours after winning Olympic gold, as he confirmed The Sun’s story.
