City holds topping-out ceremony for future ballroom

With an evergreen tree for good fortune on top, an American flag on the side, and the signatures of the Lucas County Board of County Commissioners and other Toledo figures responsible for the project’s success, the final beam of the SeaGate Convention Centre’s future ballroom was bolted into place by two construction workers during a joyous topping-out ceremony Thursday.
