Jessie Magdaleno defeated dirty-fighting Yenifel Vicente by a 10th-round disqualification on the second card in boxing’s return to the U.S. Thursday at an empty MGM Grand ballroom in Las Vegas.

The fight was boring and ugly at the same time, which didn’t make it a night to remember.

Yenifel went down twice and lost four points because of fouls — three low blows and a late punch — before referee Robert Byrd decided enough was enough and disqualified the Dominican fighter.
