Strictly’s Catherine Tyldesley goes full on ‘Fame’ in 80s workout gear as she shows off impressive dance moves ahead of rehearsals
CATHERINE Tyldesley shows off her impressive dancing skills as she rehearses for Strictly Come Dancing.
The Coronation Street star slipped into an 80s-inspired outfit to practice the group dance routine for the BBC One latin and ballroom dance competition.
The 35-year-old shared a picture of her in a vibrant pink and purple get up that wouldn’t look out of place in 80s movie Fame, complete with a purple towel and pink headband on her Instagram account.
She captioned the post: “First day of group rehearsals… too much??”
But her fans didn’t think so as she racked up over 3,800 likes for the upload, and was swamped with praise.
Jenni Falconer commented: “Never!!!! Good luck!”
A second social media user wrote: “Not enough …. FAB … you go girl.”
While a separate fan wrote: “Welcome to the World of Strictly where “too much” doesn’t exist.”
Catherine, who played Eva Price on the ITV soap until leaving last year, took to her Instagram Stories to share her apprehension ahead of this year’s series.
She shared a clip of her dancing with Benidorm actor Jake Canuso, putting her moves to practice.
She wrote: “Strictly drunk dancing.. moments before the amazing @jakecanuso spun me into a chandelier full of wax candles (not good with hair extensions might I add).”
Before she took to the online platform to share her nerves ahead of the upcoming show, as she likened herself to “Mr Bean with boobs”.
She captioned a video: “Here we go.”
