Switch to front carbon fork?

I have been toying with the idea of making my 2017 Kona explosif into more of a road, gravel all around fun bike. It is a hard tail with a Fox 34 120 mm front fork. I am thinking of replacing the front fork with a rigid carbon fork, adding smaller, smoother tires. Also maybe cut the handle bars...
