Internal gear Shimano 8 speed upgrade
Thinking about an upgrade to internal 8 speed hub on my old Trek Pure.
It now has the derailer 7 spd. cassette.
What if any, are the advantages that I could expect over what I now have?
I'm looking for smoother shifting, and not such a wide gap between the 1 and 2 gears.
