Ross eurosport cable stop question

I just got done building my Ross up for a secondary bike to ride during winter, and because of sentimental attachment I used some clamp on shimano downtube shifters to get rid of the stem shifters, and was wondering how hard it would be to get rid of the old cable stops before I finish painting it...
