Buying too small frame Cannondale CAAD 12

i have a quick question: I could get a good deal on a size 50 caad 12, normally i would go for a 54, which is what i rode before and was comfortable with , 50 is two sizes smaller but looking at the geometry chart there is not much difference , only 25 mm in top tube length, could i...
