Corr Grain Community Rocks Curling Tour presented by SaskCanola

CORR Grain Community Rocks Tour presented by SaskCanola has grown significantly over the last nine years.  The tour sees Team Dunstone visit rural communities throughout Saskatchewan promoting Curling, sport, hard-work, dedication, and teamwork to the youth of the province.  The demand for this tour has grown and thanks to all the sponsors of this event, the team is excited to announce that due to the massive success of this event series last season we will be back this year selecting three communities for the 2021-2022 season! The team continually sees in the neighborhood of 75-125 kids enjoy the day with the team and build self-esteem, confidence and skills to become better athletes and contributors.

“We designed these events to advance grassroots curling and increase participation in the game that has given us so much,” says Kirk Muyres. “We wanted to find a way to give back and grow the game that has allowed us to travel the world, win championships, and challenge ourselves every single day.”

The team along with its partners will choose the top three applicants that exemplify wanting to grow the sport & teaching the youth (our next generation of leaders in our communities). The grand prize winner will enjoy a day with Team Dunstone at their local club and play a game against the newly formed team that has their sights set on the 2022 Olympic games in Beijing and a Brier Championship for Saskatchewan!

If you would be interested in hosting the team this season, please contact us at kirk@kirkmuyres.ca
