Julius Baer Generation Cup 2024 finals are going start this September 25. It is the final leg of the 2024 Champions Chess Tour. GMs Magnus Carlsen, Alireza Firouzja, and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave have already secured their spots in the finals, but several more places remain up for grabs. Players can qualify by either winning this event or by finishing among the top performers on the Champions Chess Tour Leaderboard.

Will I make it on time or have to play it from my phone?” Syonnain on Twitter/X suggested, “You should take a bicycle!” Very soon we will find if this is going to be the case or it is a promotional stunt by Carlsen and the CCT organizers.
