New menu on our website – SCT (Scottish Chess Tour)!

SCT (Scottish Chess Tour)

The Scottish Chess Tour (SCT) has been going for a while now and organises “OTB” and “ONLINE” Chess Competitions all over Scotland, They have a Facebook page where you can find out what’s on and catch up on past events (results & reports, etc). They even hold events in the City of Dundee and Keith Rose finished equal 1st in one event at the SCT Dundee Allegro on Sun 5th March at the Invercarse Hotel!

In all there events, you enter online via a link. All the information on events, including all the rules, guideline, entries, cost, etc so far and how to enter is provided on the event page published.

To help promote there events and hopefully give Castlehill Chess Club members more events to play in if they so wish, we have added them to our website menu list to help keep you up to date as much as possible.

When you go to our website, in the main menu, hover over “NATIONAL EVENTS” and in the drop down list, click the top one listed “SCT (Scottish Chess Tour)“. This will take you to a list of upcoming events (and links if active) and a link to their Facebook page.

They area a well organised and experienced team of organisers and arbiters and are filling the “Chess Calendar” with a lot of events, Online & OTB! We wish them well for the future and your support by entering their events will go a long way to securing their future and the chess competition they organise in Scotland!
