MWWP now becomes MWP
Whitewater Ontario is pleased to announce that the well-known hot spot of paddling "Minden Wild Water Preserve" has officially revised its name to the Minden Whitewater Preserve.
Since the inception of the preserve over 40 years ago, the use of the Gull River has developed from strictly canoe/kayak training to a more inclusive venue with different uses including river running, play boating, park'n play, angling, photography, body surfing, trail cycling, and trail hiking, birthday parties, engagements, and even weddings.
With the support of the founder, Roger Parsons, and the Township of Minden Hills, WO is welcoming this name change to the "Minden Whitewater Preserve".
More changes coming to the Preserve and status of Fix-The-Gull River improvements will be highlighted at:
