Aston Martin’s Formula 1 team has named Breitling its new official watch partner, and the first piece from the collaboration is a familiar classic reimagined in titanium. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team marks Breitling’s return to Formula 1 and celebrates the start of the 2026 season.
Long regarded as a pilot’s watch, the Navitimer feels right at home in motorsport. Its hallmark slide rule and chronograph functions, housed in a 43mm case, make it well suited for tracking lap times and splits. And the crossover isn’t accidental: Formula 1 drivers are often likened to fighter pilots—and even linguistically, the connection holds. The word for “driver” translates to pilote in French, piloto in Spanish, and pilota in Italian.

The carbon-fiber dial is accented in Aston Martin green, with high-contrast silver subdials and a lightweight titanium case that subtly echoes the cockpit of an F1 car. An anthracite calfskin leather strap, fitted with a titanium folding clasp, is backed and accented in Aston Martin’s signature livery colors.
Powering the watch is Breitling’s in-house Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified automatic chronometer with a robust 70-hour power reserve. Through the screw-down sapphire exhibition caseback, owners can admire the movement and a unique matte-black rotor developed specifically for this edition, complete with the Aston Martin Formula 1 Team logo. The caseback also features two engravings: “One of 1959” and Breitling’s signature phrase, “Instruments for Drivers.” Production is limited to 1,959 pieces—a nod to the year Aston Martin made its Formula 1 debut.

According to Breitling CEO Georges Kern, the partnership is rooted in shared values. “Aston Martin builds cars that are as much about presence as performance,” he said. “We share that same heritage of iconic design—every line, finish, and proportion has purpose. Nothing is left to chance.”
That sentiment is echoed by Lawrence Stroll, executive chairman of Aston Martin and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team. “Beyond a shared heritage, we are united by values that drive everything we do,” Stroll said. “The precision, craftsmanship, and engineering excellence we pursue at Aston Martin Aramco are lived and breathed by Breitling.”
The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team is available for preorder now at breitling.com, priced at $11,500.
