Bad Bunny Scores Big Ahead of Super Bowl Performance and After Huge Grammy Night
The Global phenom known as Bad Bunny has had quite the amazing February. He kicked it off on Sunday night at the Grammys, taking home three trophies, including the biggest award of the night, Album of the Year. This, of course, happened before he’s set to perform on arguably the biggest stage in the world, at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Although his performance has been met with some resistance since the NFL announced it, countless people (myself and many NFL players among them) can’t wait to see what the “DtMF” singer has in store.
With all that being said, Bad Bunny’s week just got even better. According to a Variety story, the superstar just inked a podcasting deal with iHeartMedia.
Bad Bunny Plans to Amplify “Latino Voices and Stories”
According to the Variety report, Bad Bunny’s sports management and brand alliance agency, Rimas Sports, is partnering with iHeartMedia to develop podcasts for My Cultura, “iHeart’s podcast network dedicated to elevating Latino voices and stories.”
First up on the list of Bad Bunny-developed shows is one featuring Ronald Acuña Jr. The Venezuelan outfielder for the Atlanta Braves has quite the story to tell, as last season he was named MLB’s 2025 Comeback Player of the Year. Ahead of the podcast’s early 2026 debut, Acuña Jr. told Variety:
“I’m super pumped about this! You know I love baseball, but I also love everything about being Latino, our vibe, the music that moves us, our family stories, and all the struggles we face every day. This podcast is my chance to open up, talk straight about the good stuff, the tough stuff, and what inspires us.
“Plus, it’s a chance to kick it with people I really respect and who have a lot to share. I want everyone listening to feel like they’re just hanging out with me, ’cause that’s how I see my community. I’m ready to get started and show something real, something that really represents who we are.”
Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show Performance Details
Going back to the musician’s upcoming Halftime Show performance. As of publication, there’s not a whole lot known about his show other than it occurs on February 8 on NBC (and Peacock), and it’s likely to start somewhere between 8 and 8:30 PM, lasting for about 13 minutes. Additionally, his frequent collaborator J Balvin has confirmed he won’t be hitting the Super Bowl stage this time. So, it looks like there are quite a few surprises in store. But if I were a betting man, Cardi B will probably pop out on stage ahead of her highly anticipated tour.
