Music Icon Announces New Tour After Cancer Battle
Barry Manilow is ready to get back on stage.
Less than a month after sharing he was diagnosed with stage-one lung cancer, the legendary singer shared on Tuesday that his farewell tour is resuming next month with four new dates added to the tour.
The diagnosis pushed his January dates to March and April, and his tour begins Feb. 27 in Florida.

Manilow's Cancer Diagnosis
It was just last month when the 82-year-old Copacabana singer shared that an MRI revealed a cancerous spot on his left lung. The MRI came after he battled six weeks of bronchitis, followed by a relapse of another five weeks.
Manilow also shared that he underwent surgery to have the cancerous spot removed.

Celebrating Music Educators
Manilow will celebrate local music educators at every one of his shows with the Manilow Music Teacher Award, which aims to honor educators whose passion and dedication help bring music to life for their students.
Nominees will be revealed on Jan. 22 when voting opens. The teacher receiving the most online votes will be recognized live onstage during Manilow's concert and will also receive a $5,000 cash award and $5,000 in "Manilow Bucks" for classroom instrument purchases.
