Iconic Jam Band Phish Returns to Las Vegas Sphere in 2026

0 9

One of the longest tenured and most supported bands on the planet is heading back to one of their favorite venues. Phish played four shows at the state-of-the-art Las Vegas Sphere in April 2024, and after the success of those back-to-back performances, they'll visit the city once again.

The band will play an extended stay from April 16 to May 2 in 2026, and they'll operate on a Thursday through Saturday schedule for three weeks. They'll play from April 16 through April 18, April 23 through April 25, and April 30 through May 2.

General sale for the upcoming shows will begin on Friday, December 12, and fans of the band can request early access to the shows through the official Phish website. That pre-sale window will close on December 8 at 9 AM PT.

Phish Brings an All-New Show to the Sphere

"We’ve never repeated a set and we didn’t want to start now,” said lead guitarist Trey Anastasio back in 2024 ahead of their Sphere debut. The band played an all-new, all-different show for each of those performances, and that tradition is set to continue next year.

"We created four unique Sphere shows, top to bottom. There was a moment where we were discussing adding shows, because the tickets blew out pretty hard," Anastasio said.

"And we decided as a team that they would be good, but not necessarily astounding — which is the level that we wanted to operate at — unless we just repeated the exact same show over again.”

The Sphere opened in 2023 and has hosted a variety of musicians and entertainers. The venue even hosted live sports for the first time in 2024, as UFC 306 took place inside the structure. Fans were treated to immersive light and video shows as the fights took place inside the Octagon.

More Artists Are Embracing the Sphere

Aside from Phish, artists like U2, Dead & Co., Eagles, Kenny Chesney and the Backstreet Boys have all played at the Sphere over the last few years.

The Zac Brown Band, Illenium, No Doubt and Carin Leon are all set to make their way to the stage at the Sphere in 2026.

The Sphere is currently host to a special version of the classic film "The Wizard of Oz." This updated, immersive edition of the film includes enhanced visuals through AI as well as a multi-sensory soundscape. It's the third film to be screened at the Sphere, following 2023's "Postcard from Earth" by Darren Aronofsky and 2024's "V-U2," chronicling U2's historic inaugural residency at the venue.
