Kayak Session Paddler’s Awards 2025 – The Finalists
For the eighth consecutive year, Kayak Session is proud to present the Paddlers Awards, celebrating the remarkable achievements of the paddling community in 2025.
This year has once again highlighted incredible talent and dedication. Those awards celebrate those pushing the limits and leaving their mark on the world of whitewater. From first descents to defining moments during the last year, the Paddlers Awards honor the people and events that make our community exceptional.
These awards look at the full year from January to December 2025. They reward skills and achievements, of course, but also the work behind them. Time on the water, consistency, activity, and number of trips all matter. The finalists below stand out not only for what they ran, but for how they carried themselves across the year.
Thanks to everyone who sent in nominations and helped us trace the year’s most memorable moments. With no further ado, here are the finalists for the 2025 Paddlers Awards.
The winners will be announced starting Tuesday 9th December, with one category released each day.

Rules: One must be 21 or under on January 1st, 2025, to be in the U21 category.
