Tiger Woods Shared Golfing Tip With Kai Trump
Kai Trump, the daughter of Tiger Woods' girlfriend Vanessa Trump, has the benefit of the golfing legend's advice.
Kai shared the golfing tip that Woods gave her with reporters before her LPGA debut on November 13. According to Golf.com, Kai Trump received a sponsor's invite to Annika, joining the LPGA tour.
“He is the best golfer in the entire world,” Kai said of Woods at a press conference on November 11. “I would say that. And he's an even better person. He told me just to go out there and have fun and just go with the flow. Whatever happens, happens.”
According to a video posted by the LPGA, Kai was one of three sponsor invitations to the tournament.

At the press conference, Trump called her inclusion in the tournament an "honor."
"It was really cool to say that I will play my first LGPA event, and I'm only a senior in high school," Kai said, calling the golf course "beautiful." Trump has signed with the University of Miami. "It's been a dream of mine to compete at the college level and at the LPGA level, eventually."
Kai shared that she asked Annika Sorenstam questions about her swing and "what I should do differently" as well as "what her opinion would be on some of the shots."
Trump said she was "just going to go out there and have fun." She wanted to "learn" from the professional players, adding that she was "looking forward to playing with the best."
Trump said her mom brought her to the golf course "every single weekend in the summer."
She started golfing when she was 2 years old and labeled the sport "challenging."
“I don’t think anybody here is thinking that she will be the one holding the trophy on Sunday,” Sorenstam said to Golf.com. “It’s about opportunities and memories and lessons learned. I spoke to her a little bit yesterday. You know, just make the most out of this week. There will be lessons learned. Take them to the future and learn. That’s how we grow. I mean, she’s [18], right? I mean, there are so many lessons she’s going to learn through life and today is — this week is going to be the biggest lesson learned.

Kai's mom, Vanessa Trump, has five kids with Donald Trump Jr., whom she divorced in 2018 after 13 years of marriage, according to the Palm Beach Post.
In spring 2025, Woods and Vanessa Trump confirmed they were dating on Instagram.
Vanessa Trump gave a shout-out to her daughter on November 13. "I’m so proud of you, Kai!
Today is your very first LPGA event, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ll be right by your side, cheering you on every step of the way! You’ve got this!" she wrote.
Vanessa also shared videos of her daughter at the event, writing, "We all had so much fun watching you ! Good luck today! You’ve got this!"
