Tommy Norris is back. After an explosive Season 1, Taylor Sheridan's modern-day West Texas drama, Landman, is set to return for Season 2 very soon. This time, new oil will be discovered, and the titular landman will have more than he bargained for.

Starring Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy, Landman shares a lot of DNA with the Yellowstone universe, as well as several actors from that series and the historical spin-offs. Landman Season 2 Trailer and Plot

As revealed in the new Season 2 trailer, Landman will pick up where Season 1 left off, but with a big twist: new oil has been discovered. Here's the official Season 2 synopsis from Paramount+:

In Season Two, as oil rises from the earth, so do secrets – and Tommy Norris’s (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.
