A Beater’s Guide to Chile came about from the idea of making a film that would encourage more paddlers to share their stories at our local kayaking film night. We wanted to show that you don’t need the gnarliest lines or biggest drops to make a film worth watching, but just good adventure, great rivers, and a sense of humour. The film follows our two-month adventure exploring the rivers of Chile and the invaluable “lessons” we picked up along the way, both on and off the water.
