Why We Love This Deal
Garmin was established in October 1989, and it’s now 36 years old. To celebrate, the brand is putting on a birthday sale. Some of our favorite deals included in this sale come from their E for “Essential” smartwatches, like the Garmin Fenix E, which is now marked down to $500. These watches not only have great pricing, but are also full of features. To see just how great they can be at a low price, check out this one that’s now marked down to $200.
The Garmin Instinct E in both its 40-millimeter and 45-millimeter sizes are $100 off while this sale is going on. Not limited to Garmin’s site, we’re also seeing this deal pop up on Amazon and Walmart. Amazon is nearly sold out, however, you can check out the 40 millimeter and the 45 millimeter options over at Walmart, which are still in stock at the time of writing.

Garmin’s Instinct E brings a combination of standard smartwatch features like sleep scores and exercise modes while also bringing in a GPS, accelerometer, altimeter, and other features for the hiking boots donning class. Looking at the watch from afar, we can see that Garmin has attempted to bring the adventure watch to the masses, and with this $200 deal, they have certainly succeeded.
Seemingly, one of the biggest decisions you’ll need to make when it comes to buying an Instinct E is choosing between the 40-millimeter and 45-millimeter versions. Both feature similar screen sizes and have weeks long battery lives in standard smartwatch mode in an era where other leading watches die after a day. However, depending on what features you toggle on, this battery life can be extended or shrunk. In other words, your usage patterns matter more than what watch size you buy; get what fits your wrist best.

What Shoppers Are Saying
One Walmart shopper pointed out the Garmin ethos in their review, “I enjoy how the wellness features are highlighted rather than the social features.” This watch is a great way to focus on your fitness and not just tug around another attention sapping screen on your wrist.
Another pointed out how the construction of the watch matches its features. “This watch is rugged and can handle the abuse I give it.” The watch is built with a strong fiber-reinforced polymer case and features a chemically strengthened glass lens that’s scratch resistant.
The Garmin Instinct E is down to $200 right now during the Garmin birthday sale event. While the $200 price is available at other outlets, we’re seeing Amazon sell out rapidly and the ones available at Garmin and Walmart may soon follow suit.
