Maine summer fun- seakayaking adventure

Afternoon adventure in the Harpswell Sound, we rented kayaks and went on a small trip around the bay. The kayaks came from H2Outfitters right on the shore of the sound beside the bridge that goes from Orrs Island to Bailey island. We rented 2 tandem kayaks and one solo sit-on-top for our 2 hour paddle, the owner, Kathy, was quite helpful in suggesting a couple routes for us to take and provided a map. The water was pretty placid with a small swell as we headed for Pinkham Island beach. Great stop for a break and a refuel before circling the island and heading for the shoreline of Bailey Island for the return paddle.
