Minutes: The minutes from the previous meeting were reviewed by Jason and the action point reviewed from Jason’s notes.
It was noted that Alan Smith wanted to step down. Jason agreed to take over, but only if a replacement chairperson could be found, as he has previously indicated he wanted to step down from the position.
Cardington and the French trip away had both been successful.

Events: There was a long discussion regarding future events. The following were agreed on :
6th October 2019- club paddle - Thrapston to Oundle 16th October 2019 - Night paddle from Ferry Meadows (bring glow sticks) 17th November 2019 - club paddle (Cambridge) 7th to 8th December 2019 - Dart trip (peer paddling) 12th December 2019 - next committee meeting 15th December 2019 - club paddle - Wansford to Ferry Meadows 24th December 2019 - Xmas eve paddle – venue tbc 01 January 2020 - New Year’s Day paddle – venue tbs 26th January 2020- club paddle – river Soar loop (??) 22-23 Feb 2020- coaching trip – either Tees or South Wales 22nd March 2020 - club paddle – River Welland, Stamford to Deeping 24th March 2020 - AGM 24th April 2020 - last pool session 29th April 2020 - first lake session

AOB: Helmets – Alan Smith reported that some of the older helmets in the club had been recalled for saftety reasons. Alan to chase up. It was noted that Jenny and Les Ransford had asked to be included in any safeguarding training. |
