Boats, boots and bikes; March 9th and 10th.

Club Coaching trip - March  9th / 10th.

Hi there, the annual club coaching trip will take place on the weekend of March 9 and 10. This is a great opportunity to experience moving water  for the first time and / or develop your skills. The group is led by experienced paddlers who will lead and coach you on the river and help you learn new techniques and develop your own knowledge and skills.

We will be paddling in South Wales on the River Usk  and Wye and maybe a couple of new to us rivers. Assuming there is rainfall other more advanced rivers may be up and running.

We are staying at Cantref Farm bunkhouse (Cantref.com) in the 24 bed bunkhouse, which of course means there are 24 places available.

The cost is £45 per head: this includes accommodation on Friday and Saturday night and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. We will eat out on Saturday evening, there are a range of pubs in the local area and restaurants and takeaways in Brecon, a 10 minute drive away.

As for boots and bikes: if there is no water in the rivers then alternatives include Cardiff white water course, mountain biking and / or hill walking, so there is plenty to do
