The WBO lightweight champion bolsters MVP’s roster of female fighters.

As Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions stable continues to consolidate talent within women's boxing, ESPN reports that WBO lightweight champion Terri Harper is the latest to pen a deal with the outfit. Harper (16-2-2, 6 KOs) will add depth to MVP’s roster and CEO Nakisa Bidarian expressed his enthusiasm for bringing Harper into the fold.

“When I look at when we met Amanda [Serrano], a seven division champion, 42 fights into her career and we skyrocketed her profile, her potential and what she was able to achieve. I look at Terri as having the same ingredients. Phenomenal story, like Amanda, not a ton of amateur experience. She’s shown that she can be a champion at different weight classes. We think the future is very bright for her.”

Bidarian would mention the possibility of matching Harper up against WBC titleholder Caroline Dubois, but that’s something that still needs to be ironed out.

For now Harper brings her resume of being a three-weight champion to the promotional company which has been on a real tear when it comes to signings, which also recently includes Savannah Marshall, Chantelle Cameron, Alycia Baumgardner as well as a number of others they hope to develop going forward.
