Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn will clash again in September in what should be an even bigger fight.

Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn will meet again, as the pair are set for a middleweight rematch on September 20 in London, following their brutal war on April 26.

The first fight was a major hit at the box office, selling a ton of tickets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but also came with a lot of criticism about the fight’s real value.

The two proved all of that skepticism wrong with the clubhouse leader for Fight of the Year, engaging in 12 rounds of outstanding action that raised the respect level in the sport for both men.

The rematch could be an even bigger money affair, and that comes from the fact that they earned it being so.

Their first fight was sold largely on the legacy and names of their fathers, plus their own trash talk. This fight will sell because people want to see them have another war; it will sell on their value. The first time around, there were serious boxing fans who thought the matchup was junk. This time around, there’s not a boxing fan of any degree who won’t want to see them go at it.

The 35-year-old Eubank (35-3, 25 KO) won a narrow but deserved decision over the unbelievably tough Benn (23-1, 14 KO), who left the fight believing he can absolutely get his win back, which could potentially set up a massive trilogy.

Benn, 28, said he was targeting either the rematch or perhaps a move back down to welterweight to face WBC titleholder Mario Barrios. But Barrios is busy with 46-year-old Manny Pacquiao on July 19, and this rematch was undoubtedly a bigger money offer, anyway. With Eubank game for it, there probably wasn’t any second thought on either side about doing anything else.

Eubank Jr vs Benn 2 will come seven days after Canelo vs Crawford, making for a massive pair of weekends, back-to-back.

The rematch is expected to land either at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again, or possibly at Wembley Stadium. Spurs do play that Saturday on the 2025/26 Premier League schedule, but will be on the road at Brighton, so the stadium is open as of right now.
