Turki Alalshikh says from now on he’ll only support fighters who come to fight with pride.

After the recent announcement of the upcoming Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford fight, and coming off the heels of a massive Times Square card that turned out to be a complete dud, Turki Alalshikh took to social media to say that he’s not interesting in financing any more cards that have fighters running around the ring, looking to avoid engagement.

“From this point on, I don’t want to see any more Tom and Jerry-type boxing matches where one fighter is running around the ring and the other is chasing him,” Alalshikh posted on X. “We can [no] longer support these kind of fights with Riyadh Season and The Ring. We want to support fighters who leave it all in the ring and fight with heart and pride!”

While Alalshikh’s proclamation has got to be a tough pill to swallow for the Devin Haneys of the world, Alalshikh would soon after post a list of fighters who he’s personally interested in seeing appear his Sept. 13 card, including Christian Mbilli, Reito Tsutsumi, and Abdullah Mason, who just recently scored another win this past weekend.
