‘That’s not the same guy’: Bill Haney noticed a different Ryan Garcia at open media workout

Bill Haney says Ryan Garcia looks noticeably less ripped since PED suspension.

Bill Haney was on hand to watch yesterday’s open media workouts and was ringside for Ryan Garcia’s portion, getting into a verbal exchange with him as he put on his display for the cameras and those in attendance.

Haney would then speak to Seconds Out about how he thinks Garcia looks like a different person, alluding to the fact that his body doesn’t look the same since getting suspended for PEDs.

“I didn’t see the same fighter,” Bill Haney said of Ryan Garcia’s open media workout. “I seen a fighter that’s not as chiseled, a fighter that is not as aggressive, and Ryan you done lost your confidence.

“He doesn’t look the same and we’re going to handle our business with Jose Ramirez and if (Ryan) gets through Rolly Romero, we’re going to tax his ass — that Ryan Garcia — in October.

“I know that’s not the same guy, that’s not the same body type. I wanted to see it. That’s not the same body as seven more pounds from 140?! He got titties. He had titties, he had the flap, I’m telling you.”
