Eubank serves up an egg-slap during face off with Benn

Conor Benn literally got egg on his face during a face to face with heated rival Chris Eubank Jr.

It's no secret that's there's been hostility steadily brewing between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn since their failed 2022 fight. The originally scheduled fight was nixed after Benn tested positive for a banned substance leading into the fight, something the WBC attributed to the consumption of eggs.

Well, Benn might have more eggs in his system after today's encounter with Eubank during their opening press conference, when some face-to-face trash talk between the fighters escalated into Eubank slapping Benn with an egg in hand, causing a ruckus that security would have to break up.

Benn is already an excitable and belligerent kind of individual, and this will surely only serve to amp up the animosity between the fighters heading into the fight. Let's just hope the move from Eubank doesn't result in another failed test — or, you know, salmonella — that once again pushes off the fight.
