Fight Night Program – Week of Sept. 5-11
The weekend is approaching, and from Friday to Sunday it will be “fight-o-clock” somewhere in the world. Every Thursday, The Ring will bring you the most up-to-date information on the most relevant fights you need to see in this week-at-a-glance, one-stop enhanced fight schedule. A quick checklist for the cognoscenti, a useful nuts-and-bolts guide for the boxing neophyte is what we’re aiming at.

Thursday, September 5 – Montreal Casino, Montreal
Arthur Biyarslanov vs. Tamas Kiliti – junior welterweight – 10 rounds
Biyarslanov is a former Olympian born in Dagestan and relocated to Canada, where he built an impressive unbeaten record that clamors for greater challenges. Originally slated to face Marcos Villasana Jr., he will have to settle for Hungary’s Kiliti after a last-minute withdrawal. This can only mean that the fight may end even earlier than anticipated.
