No arrests have yet been made. Met Police Det Chief Insp Katherine Goodwin said they believe a number of people saw the fatal attack unfold and may have filmed it on their phones.

It comes after two 16-year-old boys were stabbed to death a mile apart from each other on Saturday evening.

A heart-breaking picture has been revealed of victim Kearne Solanke holding his 16th birthday cake months before he was killed.

He was knifed to death last night in Thamesmead, South East London. Around the same time Charlie Bartolo, also 16, was fatally stabbed about a mile away in Abbey Wood.
