Check out the betting odds for UFC Vegas 31, where Islam Makhachev is favored over Thiago Moises, and Miesha Tate is the favorite to Marion Reneau.

It’s fight day for UFC Vegas 31, which kicks off from the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The top of the billing will see the #9 ranked lightweight, Islam Makhachev, throw down with the #14 ranked, Thiago Moises. This card is also getting the return of the UFC’s former women’s bantamweight queen, Miesha Tate, who will be locking horns with the #12 ranked 135-pounder, Marion Reneau. Bloody Elbow is here to provide you with the betting odds for these notable knucks, as well as for the rest of the UFC Vegas 31 lineup.

The largest betting favorite on the entire card can be found in the main event. Islam Makhachev is sporting a massive moneyline of -770, with a successful $100 bet winning you a whopping $12.99, plus your initial $100 back. That of course leaves Thiago Moises as the event’s largest betting underdog. His value is sitting around the +540 mark, with a $100 gamble potentially returning a total payout of $640.

Moises is pretty wicked on the ground. Part of his current three-fight wining streak includes an ankle lock of Michael Johnson. He has dropped fights to top talents like Beneil Dariush and Damir Ismagulov, so this fight should tell us a lot here. As for Makhachev, he had one hiccup thus far in his career, and that took place in his second UFC bout way back in 2015. Other than that, Islam has been absolutely flawless in his professional career, and should be a sizable favorite going into this one.

In the UFC Vegas 31 co-main event we have former bantamweight champion, Miesha Tate, slightly favored over Marion Reneau. Despite not having an MMA match since November of 2016, the 34-year-old Tate is still getting respect by the oddsmakers and is being offered up at a -154. That means a winning $100 wager on her would bring you back $164.94. The 44-year old Reneau is on deck with a dog tag of +130. So, if you drop $100 on Marion, and she pulls it off, then you would be bringing home a grand total of $230.

It seems like there’s a lot of x-factos with this one. Reneau is in her mid-forties and has lost her last four matches, while Tate has been living life away from the Octagon for quite some time now. Ring rust and father time will be colliding with skill and athleticism and this one just might get weird. All in all, it’s hard not to lean the way of the younger former champion.
