Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Fight Camp schedule confirmed with Conor Benn, Kid Galahad and Joshua Buatsi all in action

EDDIE HEARN has revealed three Fight Camp boxing shows will be staged at his family home in Essex this summer.

The 42-year-old came up with the idea last year in a bid to create a unique environment with fans unable to attend events during the coronavirus pandemic.

And he is continuing the experience in 2021, with some supporters expected to be allowed in for this year’s edition.

Conor Benn will headline the first night of action on July 31 against American welterweight Adrian Granados.

Benn was hugely impressive in his last fight in April, devasting opponent Samuel Vargas to claim a knockout victory within 80 seconds.

The second show seven days later will then be headlined by Kid Galahad vs Jazza Dickens II in an all British clash.

Galahad stopped Dickins in the tenth round of their first contest back in 2013.

And highly-rated light-heavyweight Joshua Buatsi will close out the three-week Fight Camp extravaganza against Ricards Bolotniks as the Olympic bronze medallist looks to maintain his unbeaten record.

A plethora of British boxing talent is littered across all three undercards in what promises to be an exciting summer in the ring.

Those undercard fighters include the likes of Ricky Hatton’s son Campbell, Anthony Fowler, Fabio Wardley, Felix Cash, Savannah Marshall and Natasha Jonas.

There is also a mouthwatering all-British cruiserweight clash between Tommy McCarthy and Chris Billam-Smith.

The Fight Camp shows will be the first UK Matchroom events to be broadcast on streaming service DAZN following Hearn‘s departure from Sky Sports.

Matchroom’s final Sky show took place in Newcastle on Saturday night when North East favourite Lewis Ritson was stopped by Argentine Jeremias Ponce.
